Titus 2:11–14 “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age…”

Grace is both a gift and a teacher. In Titus 2:11–14, Paul reveals that God’s grace not only brings salvation but also trains us to live lives that reflect His character. The grace that rescues us continues to shape our thoughts, our choices, and our witness before the world.

This week, our August theme, The Grace to Pursue Purpose, has shown us that God’s grace transforms us from the inside out. Next week we’ll see how that same grace strengthens us through weakness, restores us after hardship, and faithfully leads us into His purpose.

May today’s declaration encourage you to embrace God’s transforming work each day. As His grace continues to shape your heart and your life, may you become a faithful reflection of His love and truth wherever He leads you.

Romans 6:14 “For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under the law but under grace.”

Grace doesn’t simply forgive our past—it changes the way we live today. In Romans 6:14, Paul reminds us that sin no longer has dominion over those who live under God’s grace. Through Christ, we are no longer defined by old patterns but empowered to walk in newness of life.

Our August theme, The Grace to Pursue Purpose, reminds us that God’s grace transforms both our identity and our daily choices. As we surrender to Him, His grace gives us the freedom to pursue His purpose with renewed hearts.

May today’s declaration strengthen you to walk in the freedom Christ has provided. May His grace empower you to leave yesterday behind and embrace the life He has prepared for you.

John 1:16–17 “For from His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”

God’s grace is not a one-time gift—it is an ongoing source of life. In John 1:16–17, John declares that from Christ’s fullness we have all received “grace upon grace.” Every season, every challenge, and every step of our journey is met with fresh grace flowing from the abundance of God’s love.

As we continue reflecting on The Grace to Pursue Purpose, we’re reminded that God’s transforming work is continual. Each day brings new opportunities to receive His grace, grow in His truth, and become more like Christ.

May today’s declaration encourage you to receive God’s grace anew today. May His truth guide your steps, His love renew your spirit, and His grace continue transforming your life.

Hebrews 4:15–16 “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

God’s grace meets us where we are. In Hebrews 4:15–16, we’re reminded that Jesus understands every weakness and every struggle we face. Because of His compassion, we are invited to come boldly before God’s throne of grace, where mercy is freely given and help is always available.

Our August theme, The Grace to Pursue Purpose, reminds us that God’s transforming work is sustained by His presence. We are never expected to pursue His purpose in our own strength. Instead, He invites us to continually receive the grace we need for each new day.

May today’s declaration draw you confidently into God’s presence. Whatever you face today, may His mercy strengthen your heart and His grace provide everything you need to walk faithfully in His purpose.

Pastor Royce Goree | The Grace to Pursue

1 Peter 4:10 “God has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.”

God never gives a gift without also giving it a purpose. In 1 Peter 4:10, Peter reminds us that every believer has received gifts through God’s grace to be faithfully stewarded for the benefit of others. Grace is never meant to stop with us—it flows through us as we serve with humility, compassion, and love.

As we continue our August theme, The Grace to Pursue Purpose, we’re reminded that the grace that called and equipped us now teaches us to faithfully steward what God has entrusted to our care. Our gifts become most meaningful when they are surrendered in service to Him and to one another.

May today’s declaration inspire you to faithfully use the gifts God has placed within you. As you serve others with humility and joy, may His grace continue to shape your heart and fulfill His purpose through your life.
